    Day 1: March 25, 2013, Arrive in Delhi, India 
    Arrive at Delhi International Airport.

    Delhi, the administrative and political capital of India, is a major tourist attraction and a perfect start for a holiday in India, because of its rich heritage and cultural past, revealed in its monuments, parks, Government buildings and other places of interest. Delhi’s attractions range from forts and monuments dating back a thousand years to modern shopping malls, nightclubs and golf courses, as well as a wide range of cuisines to suit every taste.

    Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, your personal concierge will meet you to extend a warm welcome. Drive through the Diplomatic Enclave to arrive at your hotel. Your personal concierge will provide assistance with check in and will present you with a welcome pack, including all necessary documentation as well as the travel plan.     Day 2: March 26, 2013, In Delhi 
    This morning start at leisure, join your personal concierge for a visit to Humayun's Tomb, a 16th century monument, which is often considered the predecessor to the Taj Mahal. Proceed to the Lotus Temple, dedicated to the Baha’i religion and considered an architectural delight.

    Enjoy lunch at the finest Indian restaurant of modern times, which has won several awards and is a showcase destination for signature menus created by its celebrity chef, who blends fusion Indian with traditional Indian cuisine to delight gastronomes.

    After lunch, visit the Qutab Minar, the tallest stone minaret which was a part of the first mosque in India, dating back to the 12th century.

    Enjoy a relaxing hour-long massage at the hotel SPA.

    This evening, we take you for welcome dinner at an upscale Indian restaurant for culinary experience and an insight into the local life.

    Day 3: March 27, In Delhi “Happy Holi” 
    Enjoy a leisurely morning over breakfast. We pick you up early afternoon and take you to the Holi Party. Please dress in your oldest clothes—Holi, the festival of colors, means that you will have lots of ‘Gulal’ (dry colored powder) thrown on you in the course of the day.

    Holi is celebrated to hail the advent of spring. It also commemorates the death of the demoness Holika, who was given a boon that she would never be harmed by fire. However, when she sat on a pyre with her nephew, Prahlad, a devotee of Lord Vishnu, in her lap, she burned to death and the boy survived. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon, with snacks, music and drinks, as you and people spray color on each other.

    Return to the hotel and submerge in the bath tub for a cleansing experience. Spend a leisurely evening at the hotel or your quick witted personal concierge could line up something as per your request.

    Day 4: March 28, 2013, Delhi - Jaipur 
    After breakfast, proceed on a six-hour drive via private transport to Jaipur. Upon arrival, you are given a traditional Rajasthani welcome with garlands, aarti and tika. Spend the afternoon at your award-winning exclusive resort and enjoy leisure time in a setting of your choice. Spend two nights at The Tree of Life in a Luxury Pool Villa.

    Later in the afternoon a go sky ballooning to enjoy the aerial view of the Pink City. Then drive through the Old City, use time for shopping and make a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal, lit up for the evening.

    This evening enjoy an elephant safari and an authentic Rajasthani dinner at a camp, situated in the foothills of the Aravallis and run by a local family.

    Day 5: March 29, 2013, In Jaipur 
    Visit Amber Fort after breakfast, on elephant back, to marvel at the Sheesh Mahal, Dewan-i-Am and the gardens. Visit Artchill, a gallery that displays Indian art, with a photo stop at Jal Mahal, the monsoon palace of the Jaipur Maharajas. You might get to witness a private show by a child magician.

    Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a centrally located Haveli offering personalized service in an authentic setting with its understated luxury, antique furniture, furnishings and original works of art.

    After lunch, tour the City Palace and its many palatial components - Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Badal Mahal and the Sri Govind Dev temple—as well as Jantar Mantar, the observatory, a world heritage site.

    On arrival at the hotel, enjoy a rejuvenating massage either at the private beds by the pool in your Villa or the SPA.

    Enjoy a romantic dinner at a restaurant on a hillock, which recreates the glamorous past of the Jaipur royals, not only in its décor but also in its cuisine, sourced from the Royal Kitchens of Rajasthan and other thikanas of Jaipur, served in traditional style.

    Day 6: March 30, 2013, Jaipur - Agra 
    Drive down to Agra, accompanied by your personal concierge, after breakfast, and visit Fatehpur Sikri en route, to marvel at the crowning glory of Emperor Akbar’s architectural legacy. Your concierge assists with checking in at the hotel on arrival. Spend one night at The Oberoi Amarvilas in a Premier room with balcony. Enjoy leisure time before proceeding to the Taj Mahal in the early evening, to watch it glow as the sun sets. Taj Mahal is known for its beauty, grace and exquisite workmanship, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan as a memorial to his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. End the tour with a visit to some of the local factories famous for marble inlay work and witness the complex art of inlaying precious and semiprecious stones on the marble from the Makrana Mines.

    Enjoy the Saga of the Taj (a musical play), before returning to the hotel for dinner at the famous Espahan Restaurant at Amarvilas.

    Day 7: March 31, 2013, Agra – Delhi  
    Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before you visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden located north of the Taj Mahal complex, and Agra Fort, which was originally built by Akbar and added to by his successors. Drive to Delhi using private transport, stopping en route to enjoy a light snack prepared by your hotel. Your concierge will assist with check in on arrival in Delhi. Spend one night at The Imperial in an Art Deco Suite.

    Enjoy dinner at Spice Route restaurant at the hotel, the finest Pan Asian restaurant in the city.

    Day 8: April 1, 2013, Delhi 
    Go for an escorted heritage walk after breakfast to the Lodhi Gardens, a haven of tranquility and peace, which contains architectural works of the 15th-century Sayyids and Lodhis. Drive through Lutyens’ Delhi to reach Old Delhi, where you visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Then take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk and tour Gurdwara Sisganj Sahib, Paranthe Wali Gali and Dariba Kalan. Glimpse the Red Fort, built by Shah Jehan, the fifth Mughal emperor, in the 17th century.

    Today we take you for a kebab lunch in one of Delhi’s oldest restaurants.

    Pay an after-lunch visit to the Akshardham temple, built of hand-carved stone in the Nagara style by 11,000 artisans over five years. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

    In the evening, we take you for a farewell cocktails dinner to an Indian Home, to meet like-minded people and witness Indian hospitality at its best. Return to your hotel after a memorable evening.
